Nut Growers Society Annual Hazelnut Meeting

The Nut Growers Society Annual Winter Meeting will be at the LaSells Stewart Center on the OSU Campus. All registration, trade show and meeting will be at the LaSells Stewart Center only. We are NOT using the CH2M Hill Building this year.
NGS President Christy Cooke and her board members Lance Kirk, Jason Perrott, Wyatt Wanner and Tom Rogers have thoughtfully created a meeting with emphasis on what is currently happening in the exciting world of Oregon Hazelnuts. The main focus of the Society is to be an information arm for the industry. The board has chosen issues that have a huge impact on the future of the industry.
Agricultural Water Management
UC Davis Extension Specialist Allan Fulton will provide basic science-based information about water and plant nutrition that applies to diverse geographic areas, climatic conditions, soil types and crops. He brings a wealth of information that is sure to get all growers thinking about their specific practices.
Hazelnut Stewardship Program Moves to a New Level
Nik Wiman, Eric Harris, Jenny Dresler and Matt Schuster will discuss the value of our enhanced Stewardship Program from very different and important perspectives.
The Tariff Situation Creates Marketing & Promo Opportunities
Meredith Nagely and Darrin Cline from the Industry Office will delineate how the industry responded to the imposed tariffs and how the situation became an opportunity for marketing and promotion endeavors that have not been possible in the past.

Event Directions & Parking
LaSells Stewart Center is located at 875 Southwest 26th Street, Corvallis, OR 97333 and is directly across 26th Street from Reser Stadium. You can access 26th Street directly from Hwy 34, or from the center of Corvallis off Washington Way. Parking will be available in the garage at 26th Street and Washington Way across from Gill Coliseum, or at the Reser lot.
You can obtain a parking pass from NGS Volunteers the morning of the Winter Meeting. Volunteers will be stationed on the map below marked with an X (in safety vest) at the entrances of the Reser lot and the Parking Garage. Look for parking lot direction signs. If you arrive after the start of the program you must purchase a parking pass from one of the parking lot kiosks.
