Hazelnut Stewardship Project Meeting
04/30/2019 @ 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM

WHAT? Join Nik Wiman and a group of peers in a computer lab setting where you can enter data about the stewardship practices you employed in your orchards for the 2018 crop. Once we have a significant number of acres entered, you will be able to pull a report that shows your practices next to the average of the rest of the industry.
WHY? This project will make the hazelnut industry stronger for everyone.
You will have opportunity to visit with Nik if you have questions about your practices.
Your data will be combined with all other and results will document the high stewardship principles that are achieved in the production of hazelnuts. This can be used for promotion endeavors, for messaging to regulators, to help indicate where research and education needs to be done and most importantly, to help you as you make plans for the future of your orchards.
WHERE? Clackamas Community College – Wilsonville Campus
WHEN? Tuesday, April 30, 2019 – 8:30 am (will be done before noon!)
TO REGISTER The number of computers is limited; to register please email polly@oregonhazelnuts.org Once you are registered you will receive more information about the morning. OR contact the Hazelnut Industry Office at 503-678-6823
