Join the Hawaii Macadamia Nut Association and the Hawaii Department of Agriculture at Island Harvest in Kapa’au for a Macadamia Orchard Workshop focused on orchard nutrient management. This workshop will be led by Dr. Tai Maaz from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and Andrew Trump, Project Manager and Vice President of Island Harvest. Tai researches and teaches soil fertility in the Department of Tropical Plant and Soil Sciences, primarily focusing on the impacts of land management on nutrient losses, plant productivity, and overall soil health.
Andrew helps manage Island Harvest’s organic macadamia farm, including nutrient management planning. Andrew is also a MSc candidate in the Tropical Plant and Soil Sciences department at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Register for this workshop for FREE HERE.
