Grape, Nut & Tree Fruit Expo
November 12 @ 7:00 AM - 2:00 PMFree
Save the date, Friday, November 12th for the annual Grape, Nut & Tree Fruit Expo, held at the Big Fresno Fairgrounds by Malcolm Media Ag Publishing in cooperation with California Ag Network, Pacific Nut Producer, American Vineyard, and California Fresh Fruit Magazines. Held back in a live, in-person format this year, this annual event is the ultimate postharvest industry gathering place for regional grape, nut & tree fruit growers and crop advisors.
Fresno is the number one Ag County in the state and the center of the Central Valley’s rich and diverse agricultural production. Nearly a thousand growers, PCAs and industry stakeholders attend this annual expo to enjoy State of the Almond, Pistachio, Walnut, Pecan, Tree Fruit, Citrus, Raisin, Table & Wine Grape Industry presentations, Continuing Education Credited IPM seminars, great food & company, and an industry trade show featuring over a hundred Ag businesses.
“Nowhere else can the entire California grape, nut and tree fruit industry gather in one venue to gain valuable and current updates from our state’s top specialty crop commodities,” shared Matthew Malcolm, assistant editor of Pacific Nut Producer Magazine and organizer of the Expo program. “2020 was a year fraught with many challenges, and we are grateful for the overwhelming support from growers, PCAs, researchers and industry stakeholders in making the virtual expo last year a great success with record attendance. We anticipate this year’s Grape, Nut & Tree Fruit Expo to be a special one, as growers look forward to meeting and catching up with friends after harvest and such a long pandemic this Fall.”
This event is FREE to attend and wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of local industry associations, universities and our sponsors. Our 2020 sponsors included: Barrier Solar, Firman Pollen, Sun-Maid Growers, Almond Board of California, Ceres Imaging, Raisin Bargaining Association, Wonderful Nurseries, Semios, Almond Alliance of California, American Pistachio Growers, Fresno State Viticulture & Enology and the California Fresh Fruit Association.
This event along with other Malcolm Media Ag Expos has generated nearly $150,000 in scholarship endowments for the agricultural programs at Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo, Fresno State, Santa Rosa Junior College and UC Davis.
